Gift Wrapped Stamp and Punch Stampin' Up!

In the process of getting in the holiday spirit, I was very excited to play with the New stamp set Gift Wrapped featured in the Holiday Mini Catalog that will be available to purchase from on August 4th.

Check out the video I made while making some cards with the new set and coordinating punch.

While creating this card I used a piece of DSP that is retired to try to make good use of of leftovers.  The gold leaf came from Forever Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper. The punch is punched out using the Gift Wrapped Bow punch.  And it is mounted on Real Red Card stock.

This card is created using a piece of DSP retired to create a holiday gift package card.  I used Green Glimmer paper for the ribbon and Glitter paper to punch the bow.

On whisper white, I stamped the bow in Real Red Shaded Spruce and Pacific Point. Added a ribbon to the front with the Runch Ribbon.  To embellish I punched out three bows and mounted to the front with dimensional.

The following two cards at part of a collection with Best Dressed DSP and coordinating card stock.  They are mounted on Whisper White Note Card.  They come in a package with envelopes and fit perfectly in the New mini paper pumpkin box.  I will make 6 and package as a gift.

By stamping with the coordinated in This card took 2 minutes to make. Simply stamped two bows on white and punched out to layer on top.  Embellished with Red Runch ribbon and Stamped with words out of the Gift Wrapped set. Easy to do and bulk would go quickly.

Thank you for stopping by and I can help you with anything Let me know.

Playing with the Sweetest Time and Sweetest Boarders all night long.

It is so addicting to have all the toys I could play with available calling my name.  Tonight is no exceptions.  I pulled out the Sweetest Time stamps and the Sweetest Boarders and had fun using my own creative juices.  Please leave your comments below to tell me which one is your favorite.

I am going to do a video so it will be posted following this.

Gifts Ready to Give with Nothing Better than

Working on crafts for gift giving and Craft fair possibilities I created the set of cards to put in the Mini Paper Pumpkin box.  Stampin on the notecard and decorated the envelopes you can put 5 cards in each box.

For this project, I purchased Vie Starbucks coffee packets and put 4 in a clear envelope. Then created a topper using the bundle and Cinnamon Cider ink to pull the colors out of the packets.

Gorgeous Posies Project Kit

normally I am not really into flower kits.  I love to put my own spin on the cards but the Gorgeous Posies Project kit looked to pretty I decided to give it a try.  The stamp set and the kit can be found on page 8 of the Stampin Up Annual catalog. When you open the box, which I admit I purchased for the box itself, all the work is really already done for you.  There are beautiful coordinating flower pop-outs and the cards itself are already designed so its only a matter of stamping and layering.

The kit comes with the ribbon and tags to punch out already for stamping.
I have a video I posted on youtube showing the opening of the box and a better view of the beauty of the cards.  Check it out.

But since I had the stamp set I decided that I wanted to try my hand at making an alternative.  I am in love with the looks and feelings you get when you see this card.  It just oozes joy and comfort no matter what message you use the card for.

I definitely see a card gift box in the near future for these cards.

Going for Tags to Cards

I am so excited to share with you some easy and fun and uber wide variety of projects using the Tag Buffet.  Now this includes the Tab Buffet Kit with the Project sheet and the Tag Buffet Stamp set found on page 5 of the new Holiday Mini Catalog from Stampin Up that will be available as of August 4th.

I did a video showing how easy it was to follow along with the Project sheet provided in the box.  The tag kit box includes all the supplies to create a minimum of 30 tags. That's if you simply went with the designs they show you.  Well I'm not usually one to stick with the standard.  I just had to take it to the next level and create my own.  Using nothing but the same inks and pieces in the kit I made 12 tags right off the bat.

Watch the video I shared showing the creations before your eyes.

If you take a close look at the photo you will see all 12 are different.  The possibilities are endless.

But I couldn't stop there.  I had to use the stamp set on card stock and make cards using the punch out pieces from the tag kit.  Imagine getting a gift, the card, the tag and the wrapping paper all matched.  That would be so cool.

The beauty of these cards can't truly be shown just in a picture. Using the tag from the kit, all I simply did was expend the design idea out further.

This card I wanted to share special because I took it to the next level of personalizing it on the inside to match the outside.

Cant you see taking plan paper and stamping the paper all over and creating wrapping paper to coordinate.  I will be doing this for sure.

I am always torn because like your kids your not suppose to have a favorite but this one just speaks to me with happiness.

Which one is your favorite.  Let me know and I might surprise you with a gift of several for you to use.

Making Ornaments has never been Easier

So like many others, I love to peruse Pinterest for great ideas of projects I can duplicate. A demonstrator by the name of Pam Jorgansen created a star ornament in simple process that I just loved.  So I had to copy it and make it my own.  I believe in giving credit to the original designer so, Thanks Pam.

To create this beautiful star ornament all you have to do is run some pieces of card stock thru your die cutting machine and simply glue it together.  The best part of this is that all the pieces needed are included in the Stitched Star Die set that will be available for purchase in the Holiday Catalog thru Stampin Up on August 4th.

The star above was the first one I created.  I cut out a 2 inch circle for the backing.  Then cut a blue of the biggest stitched star.  By making a crease down the middle of each point it gives the star stand up form. Place this star to the white circle. Simply use two dimensional's to force the star to stand higher. Then cut out 5 of the twinkle dies and glue the tip and put under the blue in each opening.  I cut these in shimmering silver. Then layered red of the next smaller size star which I set off with more of the twinkles by gluing the tip and tucking under the red star.  When you are cutting you need to cut out ten and have 5 dies so this you need to run thru twice to get all the twinkles you might need.  Added a different shade of blue to the 3rd in size and glue on top of the red. The 4th star is filigree style and I cut this piece out with red glitter paper. Then cut the smaller star an added it to the top.  Don't forget to punch a whole in the top and tie off a piece of ribbon for hanging. Easy peasy.

Change up your card stocks and create different effects.
I will be making these in a variety of colors and designer paper.  Getting ready for the craft fair.

First of many holiday creations

There are so many great ideas floating around in my head right now.  I received my Holiday Catalog package and the first set I played with is the Peace and joy and Joy dies set that worked so well the with Ornamental Envelopes.

To create these two cards I stamped the baubles in three colors and used the die piece to cut them out.  Then stamped a vine to hang it from. By using the Peace and Joy and the Joys dies I was about to cut out the word and mount on the card front.

On these two cards we mounted the words on the DSP from the Flowers of all seasons. So easy.

I had extra baubles left so I stamped the vines in several spaces and mounted the balls .

So many sets to play with next.  Is it Bells or Snow Men.  Check back next time to find out what I play with.

Creating Treat Packages for a future craft fair or gifts for friends

Its that time again.  My favorite time of the year, Christmas.  I truly enjoy dedicating myself to creating hand made gifts to give to my special friends.  Every Year it is something different and this year will be no different.  I have not posted in a while because I have been working on craft fair items, if I ever get to do one. Lol Thanks Covid.

Any ways, here are samples of the items I've been playing with and creating.

The pictures of the first two items are chocolate pop up gift boxes. Created using the Nothing Better than and Love you More stamps and dies. So easy to make and I was given the pattern in a Retreat last week that was so amazing.

The Kuerig Coffee treat box was found on Pintrest which is my go to for inspiration. I also used the Nothing Better than set.

The third photo was my original as a great birthday goodie item with a pop up of treats. So fun and so many more ideas to try. I created this with scraps from previous DSP and dies.

The final photo was Postage Note refridge magnet project. I learned of this idea watching a demo from a fellow demonstrator this week. The world of sharing makes creating so easy. Stampin Up Demonstrators are so very generous.

So many fun ways to may gifts and feel great about knowing you took the time to make and then give to someone special.
