Doing some research on Pinterest I found a card I loved and decided I could make and make it my own. The Nothing Better Than set with the coordinating dies Love you More make creating so easy. I loved making each one of these original with different color back grounds made it eye catching. Again I used Crystal effects on the cocktails to make sure they made you thirsty.

Hand-Drawn Blooms
I love Playing with Dies cuts, especially ones that coordinate with the sample images. This one is is no exception. The flowers are so beautiful and with the one large dies your card front is already laid out for you. Below is the Stamp Set and dies that coordinate.
After die cutting the bunch out on whisper white I used daubers to add color to the flowers.
The you take it a step further and the embellished with enamel dots the coordinated with the inks of the flowers.
The next card is created by stamping the bouquet with Pear Pizazz and watercolored with the Aqua Pens and colored in the leaves and flowers with Flirty Flamingo and Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight Inks.
The last card is taking the stamping to the next letter by stamping in Stazon Black. Watercolors in the leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink and embellished with die cuts of the Banners and Blooms and added Crystal Effects to add a new sparkle and dimension. Dont forget to layer to pull the colors used out in the design.

Love you More Than
Life is getting busy with that summer time hustle and so I want to share with you a few cards I made a day or so ago. I pulled out the Nothings Better Than with Coordinating Dies of Love you More than and created 5 cards. I also did a video I posted on Youtube and all are listed below.
For this card I had a blast. The Cookies look so good when they are stamped in crumb cake card stock and stamped with early Espresso. On the two cookies cut out I used shimmery Crystal Effects to make the chocolate chips really stand out. Sadly, this picture doesn't show you how cool that looks. But the ideas and potential are amazing.
If you didn't know, I am a Bartender by trade and miss my job so much right now and I really wanted to pull some colors together. I call this card the Vodka Cranberry. The idea for this came form the annual catalog this year. I just made it my own. Im getting thirsty.
I repeated the same pattern layout but decided to go with the Chocolates instead. I love that the die set has one stamp that cut outs all 4 words of Love You More Than and all you have to do is decided what you love the most at that moment. Every one could understand the love for Chocolate.
This card is one which truly shows me. First, The plan is Consume. What better than cocktails. Being a bartender, I visualized Sex on the beach, a Blue MF (which is just a long Island with blue Curaco instead of sour and coke) and Of course my fave a Long Island Ice Tea. All supplies used. Linked
I took that same technique of stamping flavors and by simply adding Shimmery Crystal Effects the glass of Pink Lemonade, Hurricane and another Long Island got full and wet looking. I am so longing for a cocktail by the pool.
I put a video together showing how easy it is the create two of these cards. Check it out.

The gifts of Stampin Up! can Last a Lifetime
22 years ago I was stationed in Hawaii. Actually at the same time Lisa Curcio was, we shared customers at the time. (imagine where I would be if I hadnt stopped to go back to college) Any ways. my group were the Hawaii Stampers. I had 7 directs and 25 in my downline. I left Hawaii and came to Jacksonville Fl. While we were in Ewa Beach I made some of the best friendships that have stood the test of time. I credit all that to Stampin Up!. We found someone who created these shirts for everyone in my group. My dear friend Kerry sent me a picture of hers last night. Good Times Great Memories and I will be there again one day.

You never Know...
So I got a request for some baby shower cards and wow my mind went in all directions. First, is it a boy or a girl? Do you want animals, ie, elephants, pandas, teddy bears? Do you have a name picked out. When you think about it, there are so many details that you could incorporate to make the card so personal to the Mother-to-be. Remember it is all about her considering what she is about to go thru and the precious life she is bringing into today's world. Precious babies deserve hand made love. The following are a couple ideas I started with and I will post the final card the mom chose. Thank you for letting a little bit of me be a part of your special time in life.
I just had to play with this design I haven't coloring in yet and had guessed at the time of the color not knowing if boy or girl. I will complete this card and replace it here.
There are so many variations to the baby outfit. This is a romper but it is similar to the Onesie. Both of these cards have a pattern impressed into the card stock to give it a dressy look and feel then of course I had to add doilies to the trim. The yellow is the back side to show the bumm. So Cute.
Okay so ignoring the fact that I am in my night gown (which is most of the time) I wanted to actually show how this card worked. Watch the video and check it out. It really was simple but is so different from anything else.
Okay, Im not gonna lie, I found this adorable idea on Pinterest. I used the supplies I had on hand and LOVE it. I hope the Mommy does too because making 15 of these will be a snap. If they chose cards from me it will automatically come with a Thank you card as well for the same price so that is double product for the money. Hand Made is really the best. (personal opinion but dont challenge me on it you will lose. lol.)

Have you thought about checking out this creative outlet. Did you know that there are kits that you could play with to find out if "Stamping" is for you. Stampin Up! put together a brochure that has several kits of all themes for the beginning stamper. It is a great way to purchase at a reasonable price a set that includes all the supplies you might need. Now you could of course accessorize but it is not necessary. I downloaded the flyers and brochure for you to take a look at. Just click the set that looks like your style and see what you can create.

#SharingSunshine
A couple weeks ago Sara Douglas, CEO Stampin Up!, shared a campaign to encourage us to #SharingSunshine on her facebook page. This month, the Paper Pumpkin will be a box where we will create some cards the symbolize sharing of happiness. Me, Myself, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to send to my friends and loved ones a box of Sunshine. I took photos along the way so I could share with you what I did. The boxes should go out to ten unanimous people and I cant wait to hear their responses. I photod the items and steps of putting these together.
Hand Made card featuring the Gate fold design using all new products from the Flowers of the Season set in the new annual Catalog
I went on Amazon and order several Yellow items that showed light and happiness to put in the boxes.
Who wouldn't love to get a box of goodies?
I started with plans of ten but couldn't help myself , I'm going to 12. The boxes are complete, they just need to be wrapped in the beautiful bright yellow paper.

Forever Fern
Im going to add more projects to this post when they are completed but I'm learning computer skills at the same time, so I'm posting to put it to use. I created the card below using the Forever Fern stamp set with a embossing folder and dies. If you click on the photo it should take you to the store to see all the supplies I used.
I make a quick 10 minute video showing the items used and some ideas on different ways to create new looks with the 4 cards I made with this set. More cards will follow.
I cut out a bunch of the dies in the set and started playing with the On this card I blotted Shaded Spruce on the Whisper White Card stock to give it a soft look.
On this card I used one of the Detailed ban dies to create the greeting layer.
So for this card I asked my daughter (10) what she would do and this is the design she created. A splash of color in a wreath that is layers and stamped on the background. I LOVE it.
