Gift Giving in a snap

Hi, my friends. I am sorry it has been a while since I've posted. Having a full knee replacement is no laughing matter. Sitting for too long hurts. Moving around from room to room is not easy but I am doing the physical therapy and wow I can't wait until next year to get super charged to make up for the lost time.

So, the daughter comes to me at 10:30 (past bedtime mind you) and says I need gifts for my class and teachers and a snack for a party. I didn't think she was going to be there but I guess she decided otherwise.
No problem, I went to the finished project's draw and wahla. Gifts ready to give.

Don't forget the 19 kids.

Card chocolate or coffee. ready to give.

I want to wish everyone a HAPPY HOLIDAY. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND THE BEST NEW YEAR POSSIBLE.

Love from Janice Blake and Casey Heres to a New Year.

To A Wild Rose

To a Wild Rose full of Thank you!

I love the newTo a Wild Rose stamp set. I have chosen Red and Green but there are so many options. Don’t you love the sentiment, change it will the Well Written dies to create any salutations.”

Using the Well Written dies I took the thanks you and cut in real red. Not wanting to say Thanks but "Thank" I ran it thru and then cut the s off the thanks.

Using the words from Well Written for more than one use.

Gather all the supplies and cut 12 inches of ribbon to embellish.
Stamping in Real Red the outline of the rose and the outline of the leaves in shaded spruce. Mounted the words on the top of the card. Layered the card on a quarter piece of real red card stock.
Using the words from the To a Wild Rose paired together in one impress created the exact sentiment I needed.

I bet you can think of lots of cards you could make with these stamp sets!

Playful Pets

How adorable are these pets?  With the great unique background designer paper, you can create so many different looks.  I only made 5 with the DSP but for the 6th one, I did some sponging and stamping.  Don't you love it?

Can't wait to make so many more cute cards with this set.

I couldn't stop playing.  I decided this was a great set to go pack to basic with simple stamping.  On this card, I used the Poinsettia Petals Bundle again with Real Red and Garden Green Inks or Highland Heather. I like how it works out.

Start with 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 and laye4rr with a piece of Highland Heather cut at 5 3/8 by 3 1/16. Layer on top with whisper white cut at 5 1/4 x 4.. Stamp the middle size flower several times. Mask with post-it note precut with middle size die. Stamp Garden Green leaves over the flower. Die-cut out with the Highland heather cluster that is stamped with the large flower stamp. For dimension, I layered the highland heather layer with dimensional strips.

The medium Pointessa stamp image fits nicely three times over the background. Us a post-it note that was die cut to cover the stamped image.Cut your card stock base as 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. Cut another piece of card stock 5 1/4 x 4 for the top layer. Die-cut out two leaves in Garden Green. Die-cut on of the bunch stamp for the focal point. Mount leaves and Bunch flower and any greetings with dimensionals.
